Use what you’ve learned to comment on the world around you

March/April 2021

Studio Project Prompt:

Develop an artwork that communicates an idea about the natural world.

Parameters:

Is there an issue related to nature that interests you? Research it, take notes, and use what you learn to develop your idea.
Think broadly or locally (or both!).
You may work in any medium, but be sure to choose one that supports your message.

Experiment at Home:

Read a local newspaper to learn about an issue affecting your community.
Experiment with materials you find in your yard, a local park, or your recycling bin.
