Make an Impactful Print

Use what you’ve learned about printmaking to make a print with a social message

Studio Project Prompt:

Choose a type of printmaking to work in. Explore printmaking techniques to create a print with a social call to action.

Parameters:

  • Select a printmaking method and a social issue to address in your image.
  • Make sketches exploring various ways you can communicate your message.
  • Experiment with negative space, positive space, juxtaposition, and scale.
  • Use printmaking techniques to gradually build color.
